Kunst am Bau installation MiS was created after the work »Metamorphosis insectorum Surinamensium« by the scientist and artist Maria Sibylla Merian. The collection consists of a hanging of 240 glass animals, insects in various states of their metamorphoses and drawings.
Kæppel was commissioned to developed the visual concept for the LIBERTINE, located in Frankfurt am Main. Together with other installations in the house, the story of a fictive personality is staged for the visitors throughout the building.
